While attending the FMA Toll Processing Conference I ran across someone associated with Feralloy Processing Company who spoke to me about the upgrades they had made to one of their levelers. I requested more information and learned that the company had recently purchased and installed a Butech Bliss patent pending Synergy hydraulic operated roller leveler for their Portage, Indiana facility. According to the flyer provided to me by Feralloy Processing, “The enhanced menu driven operator interface allows simple graphical controls and a recipe system for quickly saving and recalling the best shape correction settings for a particular product and is both intuitive and operator friendly.” Installation was recently completed and the equipment will process carbon steel up to .75″ thick by 96 inches wide. The lever was an upgrade to an existing line.

If your company has installed new equipment or modernized or expanded your plant we would like to know. You can send information to: info@SteelMarketUpdate.com and we will do our best to get the information on our website and, if appropriate, in our newsletter.
