NLMK USA Posts 30% Increase in Tonnage Sold

According to recently released data from Novileptsk (NLMK), their North American operations sold 737,000 net tons of flat rolled steel products during the 4th Quarter 2013. This includes sales of hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized steels. The new number represents an improvement of 240,000 tons compared to the 4Q 2012 (+30 percent). For the year, North American operations sold 1,996,283 net tons which represents a 4 percent increase year-over-year.
North American operations accounted for 14 percent of the total sales of the Russian parent company.
