ArcelorMittal Burns Harbor experienced a fire on a raw material conveyor on Oct. 27. The fire, which started at about 7:20 p.m., was quickly contained.
No injuries were involved and there was no disruption to blast furnace operations. Alternative methods of handling raw materials are being used while the conveyor belt is repaired.
