India Initiates HRC Antidumping Investigation on Six Countries

India has initiated an antidumping investigation into HRC, steel sheet and plate imports from China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Brazil and Indonesia. The products under investigation include HRC of width up to 2100mm and thickness up to 25mm, HR sheet and plates of a width up to 4950 mm and thickness up to 150mm.
India steelmakers SAIL, JSW Steel, Essar Steel India, Tata Steel and JSPL charge that the dumping of steel products from the six countries during the period July-December 2015 caused material injury to the domestic steel industry.
