The following report on steel exports is from the American Institute for International Steel (AIIS):
Falls Church, VA. August 10, 2016. Steel exports crept up 1 percent from May to June, reaching 811,211 net tons. The June total was down 8.4 percent from a year earlier, however.
Sheet prices slipped again, continuing a trend of lower week-over-week tags that began in mid-July.
Sheet prices slipped for the third consecutive week on continued discounts from certain mills for larger buyers.
