Bull Moose to Build Tube Mill on SDI’s Texas Campus
Written by Tim Triplett
Bull Moose Tube Co. has joined the list of companies planning to set up shop adjacent to Steel Dynamics’ new flat-rolled mill in Sinton, Texas. The tubing manufacturer announced plans to build a plant with an annual capacity of 350,000 tons to produce hollow structural sections (HSS) and sprinkler pipe. The new mill is expected to start production in early 2023.
“BMT is excited to build in Sinton, Texas, and partner with Steel Dynamics. It will expand our geographic footprint and allow us to better serve customers not only in the Southwest, West Coast and Mexico markets, but across the entire business,” said Tom Modrowski, Bull Moose president and CEO.
