    Commerce Open to Review Requests of Duties on Steel Flats

    The US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration is giving interested parties the opportunity to request administrative reviews of antidumping and countervailing duties on certain imports. The reviews look at imports during certain periods of reviews to determine if the duties should be adjusted.

    Interested parties currently have the opportunity request reviews of duties on the following products:

          • AD duties on hot-rolled steel flat products from Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, Turkey, and the UK.

          • CVDs on hot-rolled steel flat products from Brazil and South Korea.

          • AD duties on certain cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China.

    The periods to be reviewed in these cases are Oct. 1, 2021, to Sept. 30, 2022, for the AD cases, and the 2021 calendar year for the CVD cases.

    Parties have until the end of October to request the reviews.

    If no reviews are requested, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will continue to collect duties at the rates set in the prior respective administrative reviews.
