Engineered shapes producer McDonald Steel Corp. is adding plate processing capabilities to its portfolio via the acquisition of General Steel Corp.

Leeco Steel has acquired Texas plate processor Titan Steel. Titan Steel, based in Alvarado, Texas, specializes in plasma and oxy-fuel cutting and machining of steel plate.
